The Glass Castle. Rex's dream, that soon became his childrens dream as well. Through out Jeannettes life, they have been trying to find gold to pay for materials, and a place to actually build the Glass Castle and fullfill there dreams. They finally start to dig a foundation and they end up filling it with garbage instead, and they never get lucky with the gold. The Castle shows that the family has hopes and dreams, but since they are so poor they REALLY have to work for them & this one is way out of anyones reach..
That's a nice picture you got. I think that it matches very nicly with the book. There are some minor spelling errors that could be fixed. Jeannette has two n's but you spelt it with one. And you forgot a l in fullfill. You also could have included how over time all the kids lost faith in their father and resented the Glass Castle. Good job.
ReplyDelete^ spelling errors in your comment. This was a good post because you never really got off track on your topic. I like the use of the caps lock on "REALLY" because that does help emphasize the message you're sending.
